Not on viewLabel TextHappy Butterfly Day is an early example of Andy Warhol’s (American, 1928-1987) interest in repetition. This print is one of many of Happy Butterfly Day, but much like the iconic silkscreen prints for which Warhol is most known, not every version of this print is the same. In other variations of the print the original work has been mirrored, or color was added. As you look at this work, try to imagine all the different possibilities Warhol would have seen in the work.
