Charles Lisanby (January 22, 1924 – August 23, 2013) was an American Production Designer who helped to define scenic design in early color television. In his career, he received sixteen Emmy nominations and won three. In January 2010, Charles was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame, the only production designer to date to receive this honor. Charles is known for his close friendship with the artist Andy Warhol, which lasted for about ten years beginning in 1955.

In 2013, Lisanby's collection of art was donated to the Madison Art Collection. This estate includes hundreds of drawings, thousands of Kodak slides, some personal items, and even one of his Emmy’s, his Academy Hall of Fame award and a prop Oscar.
